Help Support Us
Maya’s Community CIC Support Centre is run entirely by volunteers and funded via donations and charity grants. We are a non-profit and don’t pay any staff or pay expenses. Whenever volunteers give up their time to help us they also contribute with their own fuel. When you donate to us you know that it goes directly towards helping people. We use the donated funds to buy food for the food bank which runs Monday – Friday at 2pm from the Community Cafe. The kind of items we purchase are tins of beans / meat / vegetables, pasta, rice , sauces, soap, cleaning products, cereals. If you have any of these items in your cupboards at home that you don’t use please feel free to bring them down to us at 20 High Street, Herne Bay, CT6 5LH
Thank you for donating anything you can spare, when we all come together it is amazing what can be achieved.
Every Christmas we host an event a few days before Christmas to give away all the ingredients you need for Christmas dinner. This event feeds over 1,000 people and is only possible because of the businesses and individuals who sponsor this event. If you know of a company or individual who would like to be involved and for example sponsor one particular item at this time of year please ask them to Contact Us
